On the 21st of December Swedesurvey signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Rosreestr, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Russian Federation. The signing marks the resumption of the long collaboration that began back in the early 1990s. Rosreestr is entering a new phase when the law on a unified register of cadastre and land rights is now coming into force (1st January, 2017). This is one of the areas where experience exchange and benchmarking is considered important. Other areas of cooperation is e.g. development of a spatial data infrastructure and e-services. We look much forward to initiate the cooperation together with the engaged and young executives at Rosreestr.
Mr. Konstantin Koltonyuk, Deputy Chairman of Rosreestr, and Mr. Fredrik Zetterquist, Managing Director, Swedesurvey, signing the agreement.
