Swedesurvey designed and implemented a GIS system for an inventory of informal settlements in Nairobi to promote planning.

In addition Swedesurvey was commissioned by DFID to develop a road map for the introduction of a land information management system. The proposal includes the establishment of a new organization to be responsible for the reform.
